At Duality Health we aim to facilitate your medical with minimal disruption to your life and work schedule. We offer appointments for medicals during the day, in the evenings Monday to Friday and at weekends. No need to miss that important exam or take annual leave.

Pre-employment Medicals & Health Declarations
We often are required to sign declarations for University Courses, jobs abroad. These can involve examinations, confirmation of your medical history and may involve screening for TB and infectious diseases. We can facilitate all requirements. Pathology costs and XRAYS attract an additional fee. Please e-mail your form from the link above to confirm whether we can help, a price and requirements
Insurance Medicals
If you are having difficulty getting an insurance medical, with adequate access to your GP notes we can ensure a quick turnaround. Most GP notes can now be downloaded using software and shared with you in an electronic encrypted format allowing rapid sharing of information. Please e-mail us from the link above with details of the medical you require, include the paperwork if possible. We can let you know if we can help and revert with a price & requirements
Frequently Asked Questions
How to I get access to my medical notes?
A ‘brief patient summary’ can be requested via the receptionist at your GP surgery and is easily generated with a few presses of a button. A full set of your medical records can take longer to prepare, but with modern software e.g. IGP your local GP can often prepare an electronic set of notes within a few weeks.
Are blood tests and xrays included in the price of the medical?
Blood & pathology tests attract an additional cost to the laboratory. A referral for an XRAY is included in your medical if required, but the cost of the XRAY is payable to the Private Hospital to which you attend
What do I need to bring?
Your forms. A patient summary (if available). Your glasses prescription if you wear glasses for distance. Identification.
