Dr D Morgan, MBChB BSc(Hons) DFSRH MRCGP (2010)

Dr Morgan is an NHS trained GP who qualified from Edinburgh University in 2004. He trained extensively in Scotland and England before relocating home to Newry where he was educated at St. Colman’s College. Dr Morgan has been an NHS GP Partner in both England and Northern Ireland and is acutely aware of the health inequalities we face locally. He has also worked for over 10 years in acute and unscheduled care and is well placed to deliver an Out-of-Hours service responsive to modern needs.
Dr Morgan gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practice and the Diploma in Family Planning, Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has been an NHS GP Principal since 2010. Dr Morgan has qualifications in Minor Surgery from the R.C.G.P. and R.C.S. and certification in the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants. He has been undertaking Surgical procedures regularly for over 10 years.
He is currently undertaking further qualifications in Occupational Health.

Dr Aidan Mulvaney, MB BCH BAO DCH DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Mulvaney was a Newry GP principal from 1986 to 2018. He was educated at the Abbey Primary and Grammar and completed his medical training at Queen’s Belfast and subsequently Belfast City and Daisy Hill Hospitals.
During his long career in NHS General Practice his main interests were medical education – Dr Mulvaney was a tutor for Queens University Medical Students and a trainer of General Practitioners for NIMDTA.
He also has an interest in sports medicine having been involved with local schools, clubs and county teams. He has extensive experience in wide range of soft tissue and joint injections which he also provides from our Newry Clinic.

Dr Conor Moran, MBBCh BA MRCGP FRACGP (FAEG)
Dr Moran is undertaking regular sessions at our Newry Clinic. An NHS Trained GP he completed his Medical Degree locally at Queen’s University before gaining experience of UK and Australian General Practice.

Dr Tim Russell, MBChB DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Russell is undertaking regular sessions at our Dungannon and Newry Clinics. Having trained as a GP in Scotland since 2006 and previously had a surgical background. He has been living in Northern Ireland for 9 years and joins us from NHS General Practice. Dr Russell has a particular interest in joint injections and mental health.

Dr Jim McMullen, MBChB MRCGP
Dr McMullen was a GP Partner in the NHS for many years. Heavily involved in teaching, he currently is employed at Queens University Belfast in Undergraduate Medical Education.
Dr Jim undertakes 2 sessions/week in our Dungannon clinic. He maintains NHS GP sessions locally as well as undertaking weekly sessions assisting in the local Pain Clinic where he has worked for around 10 years.
Jim has a special interest in Pain Medicine and is happy to be consulted on this issue in Duality Health.
